MY STORY
In 2008, I graduated from Buffalo State College with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, majoring in Photography and a minor in Criminal Justice. I thought I was going to be a crime scene photographer (I know right). God had another plan for my life. It took me quite some time to figure out where I was meant to be. I started to photograph anything I could including weddings, seniors, families, newborns, children, and sometimes dogs on the side. I did this while I was working full time photographing antique auto parts.
I met my husband Patrick in 2007. We began dating in 2013 and exchanged vows in 2014. God has perfect timing, never early and never late. My husband encouraged me to pursue photography full time. Before that, I had this fear hanging over my head. Fear that I wouldn't be able to pay my bills, fear that I wouldn't book enough clients, and fear that I wasn't able to have my own business, but I am enough! Don't be afraid of your fears, they are there to let you know your dreams are worth it!
My other favorite guy was born in 2019, Jack. He’s the best photo assistant ever!
Today I specialize in High School Seniors and Weddings. My goal is to help bring out the confidence in every high school senior I photograph. If I can help just one senior feel better about themselves, then I have succeeded. There is no greater joy than when a mother tells me their child has so much more confidence after their session. At the end of the day that's all that matters to me.
Every couple has a unique love story. There is nothing as heartwarming as being able to capture a bride walking down the aisle with her father, or that first glimpse of the groom watching his bride walk towards him. To be able to capture moments like these and relive the tender moments of passion and excitement between a bride and groom is why I love photographing weddings.
